GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:

Ensure the warranty treatment is aligned with the terms and conditions, and Service Level Agreement is respected. Familiar with all company products, their use and markets of use. Is proactive in the creation, release and distribution of information to the responsible departments to improve product performance, reliability and customer satisfaction. Oversee the processing, reporting and satisfactory resolution of all warranty claims. You will report directly to manager of Service department.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive technical warranty files from dealers and key account customers.
  • Enter, review and process warranty claims for all products.
  • Be a good steward of company funds while paying dealers equitably for the warranty service provided within the guidelines of published warranty policies, procedures and flat rate schedule.
  • Process the guarantee in accordance with the rules defined in the policies and procedures manual, within the limits of the amounts provided in the delegation manual.
  • Ensure compliance with the warranty conditions (deadlines).
  • Ensure the consistency of the data guaranteed with the Area Service manager.
  • Escalate malfunctions of dealers and Key Account customers to Area Service manager.
  • Provide to service and manager all data needed to establish the indicators.
  • Provide warranty assistance and information to other departments and divisions in the Company.
  • Train and follow development to maintain skills in relation to the tools used.
  • Prticipate in the update of the policies and procedures manual.
  • Become involved in the development, implementation and maintenance of the warranty system.
  • Recommend improvements for company policies and procedure.

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have at least two years’ experience working directly with customers and dealers.
  • Good interpersonal skills - Attentive to needs - Likes to work in a team - Adaptation to a few different situations.
  • Must have a knowledge on the product/area assigned, fully understanding the function, manufacturing, and design intent.

 

EXPERTISE:

  • Must be proficient in oral and written communication with an ability to present to a group
  • Must be proficient with Google programs and company ERP software.
  • Must be goal oriented and focused on continuous personal knowledge improvement.
  • Must be a self-starter and proactive.

 

EDUCATION:

  • Requires a high school degree
  • College, vocational or technical education would be a plus.

  • Dealers and Key account customers

 

LOCALIZATION AND TRAVEL EXPECTED:

  • This position is located in West Bend, WI
  • Possible National / International travel - up to 2% of time (training, meeting, audit…)
