GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:
Located at Manitou North America, LLC headquarters in West Bend, WI, this position is responsible for maintaining the business relationship with an assigned group of dealers within the Manitou dealer network. Serving as the primary internal contact for Manitou North America (MNA), this role provides dealer support across sales, marketing, sales/finance programs, and dealer portal navigation to help dealers achieve their business objectives. The position works proactively with Regional Sales Managers to support territory management and serves as an advocate for, and example of, superior customer service throughout the organization
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Maintain internal responsibility for a designated group of dealers within the Manitou dealer network, as assigned by the Sales Operations Director.
● Receive orders from dealers via the dealer portal and email, ensure accurate entry into the company’s ERP system, and manage all placed orders from entry through to shipment.
● Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned dealers via email and/or phone.
● Run reports and queries as needed or requested to manage all in-house orders.
● Act as a liaison between the dealer network, the factory, Sales Directors, and internal departments.
● Respond to all incoming dealer communications related to sales, marketing, sales/finance programs, and use of the dealer portal.
● Communicate relevant policies and procedures to dealers.
● Perform other duties and projects as assigned
EXPERIENCE:
● Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong understanding of various communication methods and proper situational use.
● Must possess a positive, “can do” attitude.
● Excellent personal and interpersonal working skills.
● Proper telephone etiquette.
● Demonstrates proactive thinking and strong problem solving skills.
● Quick learner and adaptability is a plus.
EXPERTISE:
● Familiar with Google Suite, Excel, web-site navigation and ERP software.
● Knowledge of construction equipment or manufacturing industry.
EDUCATION:
● Bachelor in Business, Communications or related field preferred. Experience can be substituted for a degree.
INTERNAL & EXTERNAL CONNECTIONS:
● Internal: Plants, Credit, Parts, Accessories, Marketing, Regional Sales Managers etc.
● External: Dealers and Key Accounts, Freight Companies
LOCALIZATION AND TRAVEL EXPECTED:
● This position is located in West Bend, WI.
● Travel up to 10%.
