Reporting directly to the Traffic & Logistics Trade Compliance Manager, the Logistics Analyst position supports the day to day transportation function at Manitou in North America. Works closely with the Traffic Manager to perform daily functions.
Will be a self-directed Associate who is able to set priorities to achieve desired results, communicate issues effectively throughout the organization to build consensus, and work independently as well as collaboratively. Candidates will need to be able to work across all disciplines within the organization to answer questions and resolve issues that arise throughout the supply chain in a timely manner.
Position Responsibilities
● Assist with daily shipment requests
● Processing daily import/export shipments and working with the freight forwarder and customs broker.
● Create a monthly KPI report.
● Create and update dashboards as necessary.
● Tracking and Tracing of shipments.
● Verify international documentation for accuracy and compliance
● Work with logistics intermediaries (e.g. carriers, forwarders, brokers) to ensure all regulatory requirements are met for the smooth movement of cargo.
● Monitor carrier KPI’s and report discrepancies with 3PL provider and in house carriers.
● Overseas travel may be required at the discretion of the manager. (Less than 5%)
● Performs other related duties and assignments to support function
Requirements
● A Bachelor’s degree or relevant working experience; concentration in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations Management.
● Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, influence co-workers without a direct reporting relationship, and to drive effective project execution.
● Working knowledge of ERP systems and transportation management systems.
● Ability to complete and process necessary, sometimes complex, forms and documents (e.g. government certifications, shipping documents, invoices, expense reports) accurately and within required time frames.
● Demonstrated proficiency in Google suite, PowerBI and Excel
