GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:

The Accounts Receivable Supervisor will oversee the Accounts Receivable team and will be responsible for ensuring that customer payments, account adjustments, allowable discounts programs, and financing contracts are processed in an accurate and timely manner. The Supervisor will assist their team in meeting departmental goals and objectives while ensuring effective teaming with internal and external stakeholders.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and install departmental procedures in coordination with the Financial Controller
  • Oversight of AR department performance metrics and adherence to departmental procedures
  • Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and the Accounts Receivable team to ensure effective teaming between various stakeholder departments
  • Develop, manage, and evaluate performance of direct reports via company’s performance management tool
  • Support departmental goals by participating in day-to-day operations tasks including; allocation of cash payments to customer accounts, processing of account adjustments resulting from discounts, errors, financing contracts, etc., and manual invoicing for various internal and external customers.
  • Oversee and audit work performed by the team to ensure completeness and accuracy of the work performed by direct reports
  • Potential to support credit team functions on an as needed basis 

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • 4-5 Years of experience in accounts receivable is required, with preference given to supervisory level experience
  • Background working for a manufacturing and distribution company is preferred

 

EXPERTISE:

  • Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills, and ability to oversee a team while performing one’s own tasks
  • Experience with mid to large manufacturer/distributor accounts receivable is preferred
  • Accounts Receivable experience

 

EDUCATION:

  • Associate degree or higher in accounting is preferred, but not required with proper experience

 

INTERNAL & EXTERNAL CONNECTIONS:

  • Internal customers include Sales Administration, Credit, and Outside Sales Departments
  • External customers the position will interact with may include dealers, fleet key accounts, and regional rental accounts

 

SALARY RANGE:

  • Base Salary Range between $64,000 - $88,000 per year, plus a potential quarterly bonus based on performance metrics

                     *Actual pay determined by experience level, skills, quailfications & work location

 

LOCALIZATION AND TRAVEL EXPECTED:

  • This position is located in West Bend, Wisconsin
  • Travel not expected/required
