Quality controller

The quality controller is responsible for controlling machines & managing the resolution of technical problems during production and for managing technical exchanges between the Product division (internally an or with external suppliers) and the Services and Solutions (S&S) division.
He is also responsible for monitoring product projects, ensuring that quality, customer and machine service issues are taken into account throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities :
Ensure the animation of technical exchanges between the Product Unit and S&S division:
● Respond to network requests expressed directly or via S&S (customer visits, hotline, responses to technical reports...), he/she is the technical referent for the European compact products for which he/she is responsible in the PU CAL
● Compile technical files for the Customer Satisfaction Committee (CSC)
● Participate in the CSC for its product range and, if necessary, lead transversal actions
● To estimate the campaigns and corrective actions required by customers and to propose them to his/her hierarchy
● Pilot the quality improvement for the small AL range with the Business Partner
As a product expert, provide support to the S&S division and to the networks:
● Collaborate with the warranty department in order to provide expertise regarding warranty requests submitted
● To be a force for proposal to his/her hierarchy and to the After Sales Service on the policy for handling known incidents on the product AL or other ranges
● Participate if necessary in certain dealer and subsidiary meetings, as well as in events such as national trade fairs, technical days, etc.
● Participate in customer training sessions on an ad hoc basis, in agreement with your hierarchy
Ensure that customer problems are taken into account and participate in the capitalisation of experience during new projects:
● Represent quality and service in the development of new projects related to AL or other
● Ensuring the delivery of the project milestones for AL or other range of projects
● Participate in design reviews and various project committees
● He/she alerts the project manager to quality risks and leads actions to remove
the risks.
Monitor the manufacture and assembly of prototype machines, pre-series, series heads and ramp-ups for the European Business Partner for the Small AL range :
● He/she makes sure that the defects found during the assembly of these machines are taken into account and/or planned by the departments concerned (design office, production, methods, purchasing, ....)
● He/she participates in the monitoring of machines in endurance
Steering customer tests of pre-production and production machines ("warm up" programme):
● He/she selects the customers in line with the project objectives and organizes these tests in a confidential manner within the network. In this capacity, he manages the relationship with the dealers concerned
● During the first few months of production life, he/she leads, in close collaboration with a network of representative customers, the project team to accelerate the identification and resolution of production life problems
● He/she is responsible for monitoring these machines independently, depending on the customer's use (e.g. farming hours), the geographical location, the weather, the need to return to the factory for analysis, etc.
Qualifications & Skills Required :
● Skills : mechanical, production knowledge, quality tools
● Languages: English, Flemish (& French if possible) speaker, German would be appreciated
● Knowledge of Six Sigma tools, including Design of Experiments, APQPs, FMEAs, PPAPs
● Knowledge of computer programs such as Excel, Google suite
