Your New Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales & Rental Manager to lead and grow our Sales & Rental team. This role requires an individual with strong leadership, mentoring, and sales expertise to ensure that processes, team performance, and customer relationships are optimized for success.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, and mentor staff to drive high-performance in customer interactions, hire sales conversions, and trade-ins
  • Oversee and monitor staff performance against KPIs and conducting performance reviews
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance
  • Maximize enquiries and ensure the completion of orders or hire contracts
  • Preparation and pricing of tenders
  • Manage CRM, track hire sales activities, and report on performance
  • Drive business growth through marketing, prospecting, and customer visits
  • Control department budgets, rental & sales targets, and inventory management
  • Lead key account management and relationship building with customers, prospects, and suppliers
  • Ensure health and safety protocols are followed across the department

 

What you'll need to succeed:

You will be a true people leader, with a strong understanding of the construction machinery market in sales and rental, who is ambitious and thrives on motivating and getting the most out of their team.

  • Minimum 5 years leadership experience in sales & rental management
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and manage a team effectively
  • Strong analytical and performance management skills
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Knowledge of hire sales processes and, inventory management and CRM systems
  • Understanding of market trends and the ability to implement business strategies
  • Ability to manage inventory, budgets, and departmental performance
  • A strong leadership background accompanied by advanced negotiation and conflict resolution skills
