Technical Logistic Assistant

General Accountability:

Responsible to help maintain the Service Parts Storage and Velocity Plans and work on any Projects as related to Safety, CIP and Warehouse Layout that are assigned by the Technical Supervisor

• Responsible for product movement relating to the Service Parts Storage Plan and Part Velocity Program to achieve optimal and safe performance
• Insure service parts are storage safely and properly per storage criteria
• Help coach and train receiving binners to properly and safely put away new service parts according to Service Parts Storage Plan
• Responsible to work on projects relating to Continuous Improvement & Safety
• Assist with project work load planning & timeline
• Fill out daily performance report timesheet for DPR tool
• Perform general maintenance duties within warehouse
• Insure accurate movement of physical inventory with use of handheld
• Pick & pack (disposal/scrapping) of obsolete inventory lists from Purchasing Team
• Responsible to help maintain cleanliness and 5S standards within the operation and continue to help develop the 5S program
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs as part of the job function while using safe lifting requirements
• Must be willing to be cross-trained in other areas in the warehouse as needed
• Must perform within the Company Safety Program and Policies

• Requires a high school education or equivalent

• Previous experience with a Barcode Scanning System/handheld preferred
• Forklift Certification preferred (order picker, reach truck) must be able to pass the forklift certification test
• Assemble and disassemble storage racking equipment
• Previous warehouse experience preferred

• Must be a self-starter, motivated and focused to work independently within the established perimeters assigned.
• Must have solid communication and coaching skills
• Computer skills are a must, excel reporting, data entry
• Must be able to work with others and focus on team empowerment
• Attention to detail and organizational skills is a must
• Learn Lean Philosophy within the organization to focus on and participate in Continuous Improvement & Learning to improve processes, efficiencies and increased profitability
