DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES :
Reporting to the Business & Process Intelligence Manager, you will be responsible for producing reliable sales forecasts, while seeking to reduce the uncertainty associated with not knowing the future, thus enabling the company to produce in a reasoned way. Using statistical and mathematical models, historical data (orders, sales, etc.), market trends and seasonality, you aim to provide production and the company with consistent data on future sales.
You will act as an interface between Marketing, Sales and Supply Chain, and will lead sharing meetings while reporting to management.
Your missions and responsibilities will be as follows:
- Demand forecasting
- Analyze market trends and sales data to establish accurate demand forecasts (statistical, predictive).
- Consolidate and update demand forecasts for different time horizons (short, medium and long term), taking into account commercial and statistical data.
- Work with marketing, sales and supply chain teams to integrate key information and adjust forecasts.
- Monitor and analyze forecast performance, identify sources of deviation, and propose appropriate areas for improvement.
- S&OP cycle
- Prepare and lead demand review meetings (Marketing Review, Demand Review) to ensure strategic alignment between forecasts, sales strategy and production targets.
- Discuss forecast assumptions
- Alert the various stakeholders (production, sales, management) to risks or opportunities linked to demand.
- Prepare clear, high-impact visual aids to facilitate decision-making by the Management Committee and the teams concerned.
- Contribute to the animation of the S&OP process.
- Continuous improvement
- Participate in continuous improvement or transformation projects related to demand management.
- Use and maintain demand planning software as the main tool for the forecasting process.
- Monitor key indicators such as Forecast Accuracy in volume and mix, and establish corrective action plans.
- Manage the implementation of action plans with Sales, Marketing & Supply teams to limit deviations.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED:
You have a 5-year degree in marketing, logistics, supply chain, business or finance. You have experience (3-5 years including internships or work-study programs) in a similar role (demand planning, supply chain, or sales forecasting).
Knowledge of S&OP processes would be a real asset for this position.
Thanks to your experience, you have a global vision and a business culture enabling you to build forecasts in line with market challenges and sales strategies.
You have an advanced command of IT tools (Excel, Google Sheets, PowerBI, SAP, M3 or other ERP). You have solid skills in data analysis, statistical modeling and project management.
Knowledge of specialized sales forecasting tools (DSCP, SAP APO, FuturMaster, etc.) would be appreciated.
You are recognized for your ability to interact with a variety of people and to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
You are rigorous, organized and adaptable. Your leadership skills, persuasiveness and collaborative spirit will make you the ideal candidate for this position.
Fluent English (written and spoken) is essential for working in an international environment.
