GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:

 

Reporting to the Senior Brand Marketing Manager, the Marketing Specialist will design, coordinate and execute engaging promotional materials to support Manitou and GEHL brands, employer branding and MarCom strategies in North America. This role will combine visual design with high-impact copywriting, developing content such as digital and print graphics, product launch materials, brochures, email marketing and newsletters, photo editing, website graphics and other Marketing collateral as needed. This candidate must have proficient graphic design skills ensuring brand consistency, excellent writing skills, sharp eye for proofing and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design new advertising assets for Manitou and GEHL brands for the North American Market
    (ex: digital, print, social media, GIFs, billboards, point of purchase collateral, signage etc.)

  • Adapt advertising assets for Dealer and Regional Rental customers

  • Develop content and visual graphics for email marketing, launches, newsletters, presentations and websites

  • Create and revise product and sales literature

  • Manage and refresh marketing assets/content on internal portals and external websites

  • Assist in creating large format graphics for Tradeshows and Events

  • Assist in creating and modifying promotional videos

  • Provide ideas to develop new brand, product, and employee campaigns

  • Assist the Senior Brand Marketing Manager with other projects as assigned

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-5 years Creative Design experience in Corporate Marketing environment or Marketing Agency (Construction/AG industry experience is a plus)

  • Solid understanding of different marketing assets, techniques and channels

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator – Premiere Pro is a plus)

  • Hubspot Experience or Email Marketing equivalent

  • CMS familiarity working with website content and/or internal platforms

 

EXPERTISE:

  • Must possess a high level of creativity

  • Dedicated brand steward reinforcing brand identity and standards

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize high-volume projects

  • Ability to collaborate with a team and work well independently

  • High knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides etc.)

  • Visual Storytelling is a plus

  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment

 

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Advertising, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience required.

 

INTERNAL & EXTERNAL CONNECTIONS:

  • Ability to work in a complex network in a matrix organization

 

What does MANITOU Group offer? 

 

  • Base Salary Range between $52,500-$75,000 plus a potential quarterly bonus based on performance metrics
    • Actual pay determined by experience level, skills, qualifications & work location
  • This position is located in West Bend, WI
  • Hybrid Position – opportunity to work remotely 1 day/week after onboarding is completed
  • Travel Requirements – There would be minimal travel with this position; could be periodic customer visits
