Why work for Manitou Group?

Manitou Group is a growing company and a world leader in handling equipment and compact earthmoving machinery. A new strategic roadmap has been launched in recent months.

In this context of internal transformations, the Global HRBP is a strategic partner for the relevant Executive Vice President(s) and their executive committee(s) worldwide. You will lead the stabilization and implementation of the new organization on a global scale, support the creation and facilitation of new teams, and manage ongoing and upcoming changes. You will be the primary HR advisor to the Executive Vice President of the relevant scope, contributing to the overall HR strategy and the success of their new organization.

As part of this transformation, we are looking for a Global People & Organization Partner to serve as a strategic sparring partner to an Executive Vice President (EVP) and their global leadership team.

YOUR MISSIONS

1. Organizational Design & Operational Model Effectiveness

You lead the overall HR consistency of the Group’s new organizational model (Global Functions / Regions matrix), and:
– Define and facilitate collaborative operating models: enable teams to work together effectively so that shifts in roles, responsibilities, and governance are experienced daily as opportunities for business growth.
– Lead Strategic Workforce Planning: anticipate and align the Group’s human resources with its medium- and long-term strategic priorities. Your daily role is to ensure the company has the right skills, in the right place, at the right time, and at the right cost. You will analyze existing talent maps, job families, and demographics, and model future needs related to our strategic plan, AI, and evolving roles to build an organization tailored to our growth challenges.
– Embed and spread the Group’s organizational design and workforce planning methodology as a lever for continuous improvement. Lead structural adjustment projects and upskill local HR and business partners.

2. Change Management & Execution Discipline

– Lead the “Glocal” change management roadmap: anticipate impacts, provide purpose behind transformations, guide teams through the adoption of the operating model, and measure the tangible impact of action plans.
– Support the rollout of the 2026–2030 business roadmaps: track and drive strategic roadmap execution within your scope. Innovate in achieving business objectives by leading change management that enables each team to define its contribution to the strategic plan through team performance dynamics.
– Embed a passionate, committed, and accountable leadership culture within executive committees and operational teams.

3. Leadership Enhancement & Talent Development

– Support onboarding and team effectiveness: collaborate closely with the Group Talent & Learning team to deploy development pathways for executive committee members, placing people at the center of Manitou Group’s growth.
– Drive “High-Performing Teams” dynamics: transform each team into a highly aligned group focused on business outcomes, equipped with complementary skills, and collaborating smoothly and autonomously to deliver sustainable results.
– Secure retention and succession planning for strategic talent: lead Organization & People Reviews (OPR), identify critical capabilities (digital, data, industrial/commercial excellence), and build robust succession plans.

4. Global HR Governance & Strategic Analytics

– Ensure global equity and consistency across key HR processes (merit reviews, performance management, talent management) in close partnership with Country and Regional HR Directors.
– Leverage People analytics and metrics to inform strategic decision-making and anticipate organizational risks.
– Co-build the HR budget and headcount planning in strict alignment with operational and financial priorities.

5. Cross-Functional Project Management

– Lead the human and organizational tracks of medium- to long-term international business initiatives (e.g., commercial performance, M&A/acquisition strategies, matrix management, digital governance, AI impact, customer-centric decision-making).
– Manage these cross-functional projects on a global scale.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

You bring 10 to 15+ years of experience in HR Partnership (HRBP, HR Director, HR Leader), Organizational Development, or HR Consulting. You are accustomed to working in international, matrixed organizations—preferably undergoing major transformation or rapid expansion.

You possess a broad understanding of corporate governance and processes, with proven expertise in leading organizational design, RACI frameworks, and cross-functional HR initiatives.

– Fluency in English.
– Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams around a shared roadmap in a fast-paced, international transformation context.
– Strong capacity to structure strategic recommendations.
– Ability to identify and navigate human-centric challenges with perspective and sound judgment.
– Mastery of project management and change management methodologies.
– Demonstrated talent development skills—nurturing individuals to achieve both their career aspirations and organizational goals.
– Collaborative mindset with a strong passion for co-creating solutions.
