GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:
Under the guidance of the Human Resources Manager, this role serves as the front desk receptionist by receiving and directing incoming telephone calls while greeting and welcoming visitors professionally and courteously. Performs all duties related to the accurate and timely dissemination of mail, packages, literature, and manuals to and from internal and external customers; Supports the HR department with administrative tasks.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Answer screen and forward incoming phone calls.

Order and maintain office supplies

Greet customers, candidates, vendors and contact appropriate personnel by following the safety procedures

Coordinate lunches ordered by employees and order lunches as requested by the HR Department

Performs all duties related to the accurate and timely dissemination of mail, packages, literature, and manuals to and from internal and external customers.

Opens letters or boxes by hand or by using various tools or equipment when necessary
-
Date stamps correspondence.

Sorts various mail and other items into predetermined groups.

Receives and stores merchandise in designated locations.
-
Packages and wraps supplies, addresses and/or marks packages with identifying data and delivers to specified destinations by hand or by using a hand truck.

Operates office machines, procures and sorts or delivers mail and various other items, fills in standard forms, places items in a file systematically; weighs and seals outgoing mail; and applies postage using a postage meter.

Prepares and weighs packages to be shipped UPS and/or Fed Ex.

Performs additional duties related to the mailroom.

Picks, packs, and ships dealer and salesmen literature orders and various office forms and marketing materials.

Accurately fills orders by locating and removing requested supplies from storage areas, referring to requisition forms.

Maintains an organized and orderly mailroom area.

Takes a physical inventory of all manuals, envelopes, forms, checks, and tags.

May assist in collating and stuffing dealer and customer mailings.

Process invoices in the ERP systems as requested

Back up the Executive Assistant as needed (coordinate lunches, events, etc.)

Coordinate HR-related projects as needed
EXPERIENCE:
-
3-5 years of switchboard/receptionist experience
-
Previous experience in a mailroom environment is desired.
EXPERTISE:
-
The ability to repeatedly lift up to 25 pounds on a daily basis and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

The ability to stand for 80% of the day and repeatedly reach and bend.

The ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism

Maintain confidentiality
-
Basic keyboarding skills are required.

The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing is required.
EDUCATION:

A high school education or equivalent

- Base Pay Range between $20-$26 per hour plus a potential quarterly bonus based on performance metrics

- This position is located onsite in West Bend, Wi
