VISION AND KEY STAKES:

The strategic Marketing role leads the Group’s strategic vision and operational marketing excellence & business growth aligned with LIFT 2030 Vision, ensuring global brand consistency and local market relevance and growth across all product categories and regions.

As the “Voice of the Market” within Global Offers, this role transforms customer and market insights into actionable strategies on Products and Positioning that guide the Group’s Product portfolio, innovation pipeline, and commercial approach, ensuring profitable growth.

 

  • Be the center of excellence for global marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with the LIFT roadmap.
  • Translate Voice of Customer (VoC), market trends, and megatrends into data-driven strategic insights.
  • Strengthen Manitou’s brand equity and global positioning while supporting regional marketing needs.
  • Support profitable growth through segmentation, value proposition design, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration with Category Managers, Regions, Digital offers, and R&D.
  • Drive customer experience, brand consistency, and communication impact across all touchpoints.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Group Business Plan
    • Follow the application/deployment of the group business plan across the different regions / departments and report @ EXCOM.

 

  • Strategic Marketing & Market Intelligence
    • Define the “global marketing plan” across the different markets (Agriculture, construction…) and execute the Group’s marketing strategy aligned with the LIFT plan and global business priorities.
    • Consolidate and challenge regional marketing plans to ensure global consistency.
    • Monitor megatrends, competitors/sectors strategic orientations, customer behaviors, and market shifts (economic, demographic, geopolitical).
    • Provide data-driven insights,  recommendations and identify opportunities to the Executive Committee and Category Managers with business cases as a key input to the PDPS  and SDPS plans
    • Lead Go-to-Market strategies for new offers, digital services, and value-based solutions and develop strategies for market conquest.
    • Lead the projects arbitration (product and services) across the different categories in line with the group business plan

 

  • Brand Strategy & Communication
    • Strengthen the Manitou brand image and awareness globally.
    • Define and deploy brand strategic positioning, visual identity, and messaging consistency.
    • Oversee corporate communication, events, and trade fairs, ensuring impactful storytelling.
    • Support subsidiaries, distributors, and dealers with marketing guidelines and assets.
  • Customer Insights & Voice of Customer (VoC)
    • Establish strategies for best in class Customer Experience, ensuring customer loyalty and share growth
    • Identify needs for group digital solutions to improve efficiency, effectiveness – (business owner) and support regional deployment made by Digital offers (Product owners)
    • Own through the market directors all the knowledge of their segment especially the customer applications.
    • Centralise and challenge  the regions VOC and structure customer and dealer feedback through surveys, panels, and telematics data
    • Embed VoC throughout the product and service lifecycle (MGPD / MGSD gates).
    • Measure customer satisfaction and ensure continuous improvement of the customer experience
    • Ensure the input on the customer lifecycle experience, making sure it matches the needs of the different targeted markets (agriculture, construction…).
    • Develop a customer knowledge hub similar to the business intelligence already existing

 

  • Transversal Marketing Support
    • Establish best-in-class marketing toolkits, standards, and processes to regional teams.
    • Animate and deploy automation tools, CRM insights, and data analytics made available by Digital Offers to drive efficiency and decision-making.
    • Support pricing, segmentation, and forecasting analyses to enhance business performance.
    • Provide direction & support in terms of marketing the offer through customer value proposition, working with all the different functions of Global Offers ( category directors, customer life cycle director, digital offers…) and Global Regions to ensure consistency and delivery across customer and market segments

 

  • Team Leadership and Collaboration
    • Develop Talent, and Leadership to support LIFT 2030 Vision of Business Growth – through a high-performing global marketing team built around “expertise, commitment, collaboration, and customer focus”.
    • Promote continuous learning, best practice sharing, and alignment across functions and regions.

EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES:

 

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Strategy (Bac +5 or equivalent).
  • 15+ years’ experience in international marketing leadership within industrial or B2B sectors.
  • Proven success in strategic marketing, brand management, and product portfolio leadership.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking, with the ability to connect data, insights, and actions.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and influencing skills.

 

  • Strategic Mindset – Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Global perspective –  Taking a broad view when approaching issues, using a global lens.
  • Communicates Effectively – Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
  • Customer focus – Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.
  • Build Networks –  Effectively building formal and informal relationships inside and outside the organisation

 

LOCALISATION AND TRAVEL EXPECTED:

 

  • This position is located in Europe.
  • Up to 40% international travel, especially to key markets and regional marketing teams.

      • Authorised persons involved in the recruitment process working on behalf of Manitou Group companies and subsidiaries ;

      • Do we transfer your personal data?

        The Manitou Group's Data Center is based in France. For some of the services we offer (particularly those accessible via the web), we use specialist partners (considered as subcontractors) who may host data outside France and the European Union. For example, we use partners such as IT service providers, social network providers and marketing agencies.

        How long will your personal data be kept?

        Your personal data is kept for as long as is necessary for the fulfilment of the purposes, in accordance with legal or regulatory obligations and internal procedures.

        In this context, your personal data is processed for a maximum of twelve months after the last use of your candidate account.

        In the French companies of Manitou Group, personal data is archived for a maximum of five years after the last use of your candidate account.

        In the event of litigation, Manitou Group companies and subsidiaries may retain personal data until the end of legal proceedings.

        Security

        Given the nature of personal data and the risks involved in processing it, Manitou Group implements technical and organisational security measures to protect the security and confidentiality of the data under our supervision against accidental or deliberate manipulation, loss or destruction, and against access to such data by unauthorised persons.

        What are your rights and how can you exercise them?

        You have a number of rights regarding the protection of your personal data :

        • Right to be informed: In order to guarantee fair and transparent processing, you may receive from Manitou Group companies any information concerning the processing of your personal data.

        • Rights of access and rectification: You have the right to request access to your personal data and to rectify inaccurate data. Under this right of access, you may obtain confirmation as to whether or not your personal data is being processed and, if so, access to it.

        • Right to erasure: You have the right to obtain the deletion of your personal data in certain cases, such as when the personal data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. However, this right to oblivion is limited with regard to the legal and contractual obligations of the companies and subsidiaries of the Manitou Group.

        • Right to limitation: You have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data by Manitou Group, for example where such processing is unlawful, and to object to it by requesting the deletion of your personal data. In such cases, your personal data will only be processed with your consent or for the exercise or defence of legal claims.
