What are the role and responsibilities?
The Strategic Alignment & Execution Excellence department is dedicated to ensuring the strategic alignment and performance of our entire Offer development portfolio. We strengthen the organization’s capabilities by standardizing methods, processes, and tools, as well as the development of project management excellence.
As a cornerstone of this ambition, the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Competence Center serves as the engine for execution. Your mission is to provide and evolve the unique methodological framework, optimized processes, and digital tools necessary to develop our Offers with a resolutely customer-centric approach.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Governance & Strategy:
- Define and promote the long-term PLM vision and multi-year roadmap, ensuring continuous alignment with evolving business challenges.
- Lead governance committees as a key partner to executive teams (R&D, Operations, IT) to arbitrate priorities and validate major strategic evolutions.
- Performance & Data integrity:
- Orchestrate PLM-related initiatives to guarantee successful delivery in terms of cost, schedule, and quality while ensuring seamless inter-project coordination.
- Act as the guardian of data reliability by defining standards and KPIs necessary to maintain high-quality data supporting global Group activities.
- Execution & Continuous Innovation:
- Lead the deployment and adoption of a harmonized PLM “Core Model” across the Group while staying ahead of market and technology trends.
- Drive the continuous improvement of the digital ecosystem, collaborating closely with IT&D to keep tools and processes at the cutting edge of industry standards.
- Leadership & Talent Development:
- Manage and coach the PLM Competence Center team, ensuring their skills and expertise align with future organizational stakes.
- Define competency frameworks for PLM contributors and Data Quality roles to promote a culture of excellence and professional growth.
What do you need to succeed on this position challenge?
We are looking for an inspiring leader with a Master’s degree in engineering or project management and a strong background in steering large-scale, global programs. If you have a proven track record of successfully guiding international, cross-functional teams and ideally possess a PMP certification, you will thrive in driving our ambitious transformations.
As our PLM visionary, your confirmed expertise in Product Lifecycle Management and deep understanding of the solutions market will be the cornerstone of our digitalization journey. You will build an innovative strategic roadmap, ensuring impeccable product data quality and robust governance across our international landscape. Your fluent English and French will be essential to collaborate globally, leveraging your strong appetite for new digital practices in an industrial ecosystem.

What does Manitou Group offer?
- Availability: Immediate start
- Contract Type: Permanent
- Flexibility: Hybrid work (2 days per week), available after 3 months of seniority.
- C&B: Base salary and performance-based bonus commensurate with experience, plus profit-sharing, comprehensive health insurance, CSE benefits, an on-site cafeteria, and commuter subsidies.
