Regional IT Director
As the Regional IT Director, you play a key role in supporting the region’s business activities by ensuring high-performance local IT services aligned with local strategic challenges.
Reporting to the Group CIO and serving as a member of the IT&D Management Committee, your primary mission is to ensure user satisfaction across the region. You will oversee local support, asset management, and the execution of the project portfolio specific to your area.
You will act as a true “Business Partner” to the Group’s general management within your scope. You are the guarantor of service quality (Service Desk, On-site Support), hardware lifecycle management (Fleet Management), and the alignment of IT solutions with local business needs, while adhering to Group standards.
You actively contribute to the Group’s global IT strategy by escalating specific requirements from the Europe zone and facilitating the deployment of Group solutions.

Lead, inspire, coordinate, and manage IT teams across the region to achieve IT&D strategic objectives.

Define the local application and infrastructure roadmap in collaboration with local business teams.

Define and implement support and equipment policies within the region.

Ensure service continuity, customer satisfaction, and successful project delivery at an optimized cost.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
Leadership and Team Management
-
Coordinate and develop distributed teams across the region covering Project Management (deployments, integrations), User Support (Level 1 & 2), Fleet Management (PCs, mobiles, peripherals), and On-site Support.

Set individual and collective objectives, monitor performance, conduct evaluations, and identify training needs.

Foster a collaborative environment focused on “Customer Service” and a results-oriented culture.

Ensure communication and coordination between local teams, global IT&D teams, and regional business departments.

Guide business units toward standard Group solutions or innovative local value-adds, ensuring consistency with the Group IS.

Champion the roadmap defined with other IT&D directors and business divisions (construction, delivery, and review).
Planning, Organization, and Management

Supervise all project and support activities in the region, ensuring responsiveness and quality for end-users.

Implement and monitor KPIs (SLAs, user satisfaction, resolution times) and asset management metrics.

Manage critical incidents impacting regional sites by coordinating local and central teams for rapid resolution.

Oversee fleet management: acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and renewal of IT hardware (PCs, mobile devices, industrial IT).

Budgetary Management: Build, defend, and monitor the regional IT budget (OPEX/CAPEX) in compliance with financial procedures.

Vendor Management: Manage relationships with local suppliers and integrators; negotiate local service contracts and ensure SLA compliance.

Governance: Guarantee consistency with global strategy (preventing “Shadow IT”) and ensure compliance with internal governance (ITIL, Cybersecurity, Group Standards, and local GDPR).

Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of service improvement and analyze solutions to enhance productivity and user experience.
PROFILE
Education & Experience:
-
Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Information Systems or equivalent experience.
-
Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT team management, ideally in an international or multi-site environment.
Technical Skills
-
ITIL Framework: Mastery of Incident, Request, and Asset Management processes.

Service Desk: Excellent knowledge of ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow).

IT Asset Management: Expertise in PC fleet, mobility (MDM), and hardware lifecycle.

Project Management: Proven skills in PMP, Prince2, or Agile methodologies.

Infrastructure: Good understanding of LAN, Wi-Fi, and server rooms to interface with technical experts.

Enterprise Systems: Knowledge of ERP and CRM systems.

Security & Compliance: Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and data protection (GDPR).

Tools: Mastery of collaborative suites (Google Workspace / Office 365).

Languages: Fluent English (written/spoken) is mandatory. Proficiency in another European language (German, Spanish, Italian, etc.) is a significant asset.
