Talent Acquisition Specialist

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:

Under the direction of the Talent Acquisition Manager, you will assist HR with screening, scheduling and conducting interviews keen on getting results.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meet with Hiring Managers to assess job responsibilities.
  • Update job descriptions and specifications when needed.
  • Prepare and post job requisitions to appropriate job boards/newspapers/colleges, etc.
  • Help maintain career opportunities on internal and external websites.
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
  • Use social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.
  • Develop strong relationships and partner with hiring managers, business leaders and HR.
  • Screen candidate resumes and job applications.
  • Conduct and coordinate phone and on-site interviews to evaluate if the applicants meet the position requirements.
  • Assist in travel arrangements, lodging and transportation for out-of-town applicants and coordinate reimbursement.
  • Conduct regular follow ups with candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment process.
  • Complete applicant reference checks.
  • Promote the employee referral program.
  • Coordinate, implement and attend college recruiting initiatives and career fairs.
  • Other HR related duties as assigned by the Talent Acquisition Manager.

 

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Human Resources Management or Business Management) and 2-4 years of progressive staffing and recruiting experience on a corporate/national level.

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • Demonstrated success in sourcing and full-life cycle recruiting with corporate functional areas.
  • Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite, Google Suite and social media.
  • Previous experience utilizing Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and/or applicant tracking systems (ATS) a plus.

 

KNOWLEDGES:

  • Applicant data mining and internet research.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, time management and organizational skills.

 

INTERNAL/EXTERNAL CONNECTIONS:

  • Internal: Employees and managers.
  • External: Recruiters, college/school contacts, vendors.

 

LOCALIZATION AND TRAVEL EXPECTED:

  • This position is located in West Bend, WI
  • 5% travel
