S&OP/Supply Chain Planning Intern

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:

This role is an opportunity for a self-driven individual to utilize his or her analytical skills to deliver timely and relevant sales, inventory, and operations planning reports. This position will support the SIOP process through analysis and maintenance of data, preparation of reports, and communication of key findings to be utilized by the management team.     

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Update, maintain, and improve forecast data reporting
  • SIOP month end close reporting
  • Update and maintain SIOP metrics
  • Update and maintain SIOP planning database
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

 

ABILITIES/PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to analyze data utilizing Excel and provide timely and accurate reporting.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Independent self-started who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or Operations Management from an accredited college or university.
  • Intermediate/Advanced Excel abilities are required, including V-lookups, pivot tables, conditional formatting, IF statements, charts & graph creation. Access skills are a plus.
  • Self-motivated and quick learner with an open mind to new challenges.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data.  
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
