GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY

Under the direction of the Parts Sales Administrator and in concert with department goals, the Parts Order Administrator services our dealers and helps with the placement of parts and attachment orders.  Verify the accuracy of orders, trouble shoot errors or customer inquiries submitted via phone or using a variety of portals.  Assist customers with parts and attachment pricing and availability. Process returns and credits. 

  

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor and respond to all part and attachment orders from customers to ensure timely processing
  • Understand the customer base and expectations.  Service needs accordingly
  • Enter orders timely and accurately into business management system
  • Send order confirmations as needed
  • Support customers by providing online instructions and training on ordering processes
  • Investigate and resolve parts shortage, damage, lost or missing; communicating with customers through resolutions
  • Provide customers with pricing and availability information
  • Keep parts team informed of concerns and occurrences
  • Take on projects or other assignments as needed
  • Support the mission of Manitou Americas and the Customer Support strategy for growth and continuous improvement
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

  • High School degree required with experience in customer service, office services and or data entry is preferred
  • Customer interpersonal relationship skills
  • Competent in both verbal and written professional communication
  • Competent in MS office suite
  • Demonstrated positive interpersonal skills which promote team work and customer satisfaction
  • Strong aptitude for attention to details
