FINANCE PROCESS IMPROVEMENT ANALYST 

MANITOU EQUIPMENT AMERICA

 

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:

Manitou is in the process of streamlining its internal finance processes which are largely dependent on deployment of additional modules or updates to the ERP system (“IFS”). We are looking for a FINANCE / IT Business Analyst that would have an understanding of finance processes and prior exposure with ERP.  The position will support the entire finance organization and will work in close coordination with the IT Department. Priority arbitration will be determined by the VP Finance. 


 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze current finance processes 

  • Create scope of work or scope of modifications for implementation

  • Coordinate between Finance / IT and potential other stakeholders within the organization

  • Implement the modification and simplification of processes 

  • Apply lessons learned from experience for future process improvement

  • Prepare documentation of new processes

  • Support the potential conversion to a new ERP system

 

EDUCATION:

  • BS in Finance, Accounting and / or IT

  • CPA would be a plus

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2 to 5 year experience in Finance (cost accounting or general accounting preferred)

  • Prior Experience / exposure with ERP (IFS would be a plus)

 

COMPETENCIES and SKILLS:

  • Solid business understanding and problem-solving skills

  • Team player and excellent communication skills 

  • Able to work independently on identified process improvements

  • Business simplification / continuous improvement mindset

  • Ability to identify and propose ideas for future improvements in collaboration with other team members

  • Time Management skills and ability to meet deadlines

 

INTERNAL / EXTERNAL CONNECTIONS:

Internal:

  • Finance and IT departments

  • Occasional interactions with parent company in France

 

External:

  • Occasional ERP consultants

 

LOCALISATION AND TRAVEL EXPECTED:

  • This position is located at the West Bend, WI office

  • Limited travels to other US facilities
