Product Distribution Center Manager

General Accountability

With a report to the PDC & Manufacturing Support Manager, the PDC Manager is responsible for supporting the PDC operators on Technical and Quality subjects. The core responsibilities include: ensuring Manitou Quality standards are being maintained, providing technical support, coordinating & managing crisis situations



  • Trains subcontractor for incoming inspections; final inspection execution
  • Prepare or modify option assembly instruction
  • Assist PDC operators during new option installation / Supports options assembly and repairs
  • Verify the compatibility of the kits and suggest adjustment accordingly
  • Supports product evolution training and associated documentation
  • Ensures quality of the product before delivery to the dealers
  • Measure the quality of PDC activity and implement action plan
  • Managed in the ERP the non-conformity of finish goods and parts
    • Declaration of NC
    • Parts ordering
  • Assist the team in forklift troubleshooting



  • BS Technical Degree or equivalent.



  • Minimum of 2/3+ years’ experience preferably in heavy-industrial manufacturing environment
  • Strong background in design drawing reading / electrical diagram



  • Ease to understand technical documentation about electric and hydraulic
  • Ability to create adapted training documentation depending of the category of user
  • Capability to measure the quality of the activity and formalization of report
  • Excellent communication, and capacity to train people
  • Ability to work in autonomy remotely from main office
  • Ability to use ERP/ PLM / CAD software, office suite



  • Internal: MHA, CEP, S&S Divisions and S&M Organization
  • External: Subcontractors, dealers, suppliers



  • This position is located in Baltimore , MD
  • Up to 20% travel could be required
