Manitou Group has made CSR – Corporate Social Responsibility – one of its strategic drivers. We are committed to promoting a positive impact on our employees, the environment, our customers, our regions and our partners.

This approach is a driving force that contributes to promoting a more sustainable world, and we encourage our employees to participate in it.

Our employees are involved on a daily basis in promoting CSR in all these areas, contributing to our differents actions.

Environment : reducing the ecological footprint of the company’s activities

All our teams are committed to reducing the carbon footprint of our machines throughout their life cycle:

  • from the sourcing of parts to their composition,
  • from packaging to transport conditions
  • from on-board energy and its consumption,
  • from repair and reconditioning to recycling, etc.

It is the participation of all our employees that enables us to continuously improve!

We also promote soft mobility:

  • increased coverage to 60% of public transportation passes
  • soft mobility bonus (bicycle, scooter)
  • promotion of carpooling among employees

Employees: promoting the well-being and professional development of our employees

Our HR teams work closely with all departments on a daily basis to ensure good working conditions in all positions.

We constantly strive to achieve a zero accident policy at our sites. We are fortunate to have an independent occupational health service at our headquarters that supports all our employees in France in preventing health risks.

We partner with local associations, schools, and businesses to promote initiatives that support the local economy.

We have a volunteer policy that allows our employees to use their working hours to engage in activities that have a positive social impact. We provide a list of possible activities to inspire them in this endeavor.

Customers: offering solutions that help improve their social impact

Our Marketing, R&D (research and development), Services, and After-Sales teams are at the forefront of engaging our customers in our CSR approach.

We also listen to our customers’ expectations in order to offer products and machines that meet the CSR challenges they wish to participate in.

Partners: establishing sustainable and ethical collaborations

Our Purchasing teams work to establish lasting relationships with our Suppliers, ensuring Manitou Group’s impact throughout the value chain.

We evaluate our suppliers and monitor action plans (notably via Ecovadis).
