Locations in France
In France, we are spread across five sites in the Greater West region:
Ancenis (44)
As the Group’s head office, the Ancenis site is the historical heart and the largest production facility of Manitou Group.
It houses the majority of the Group’s support functions, including R&D, Finance, HR, Sales & Marketing, Services, IT&D, and more.
There are also several sites with complementary activities, employing a total of around 2,000 people:
- A telescopic handler production site (Aubinière)
- A logistics and spare parts distribution centre (CLPR)
- An industrial forklift assembly and distribution site (PDC)
- A machine and parts reconditioning site (MGS)
How to get to Ancenis?
Headquarters address (Main reception)
By road
The site is easily accessible via the A11 motorway.
- 30 minutes from Nantes
- 40 minutes from Angers
- 50 minutes from Cholet
By train
From Ancenis train station, it is a 15-20 minute walk.
A shuttle bus can pick you up at the station and drop you off at our sites. The journey takes around 7 minutes (3 trips, morning and evening).
By bike
You can come to our sites by bike (directly or via train).
Candé (49)
We have two production sites for aerial work platforms in Candé.
In 2026, we will open a third production site dedicated to the production of mechanically welded components for the two existing sites in Candé.
How to get to Candé?
By road
The site is accessible via the motorway (A11) or the national highway.

Beaupréau (49)
We have two sites in Beaupréau:
- A production site for all-terrain and semi-industrial forklifts.
- Another warehouse equipment production site.

- 1 hour from Angers
- 20 minutes from Cholet
- 30 minutes from Ancenis
- 50 minutes from Nantes
Laillé (35)
This is a production site for compact telescopic handlers.
You can see the site by taking the N137 road from Nantes to Rennes.

By road
- 25 minutes from Rennes
- 40 minutes from Chateaubriant
- 55 minutes from REdon
- 1 hour from Nantes
Our other sites
Manitou Group continues to expand in France and internationally.
We take particular care to develop our business by creating new production sites or acquiring existing sites that enable us to strengthen our expertise.
This is particularly the case around Poitiers (86) and Le Mans (72), where we are accelerating the development of our electric ranges.
